Distinct dark zigzag pattern running down its back with a 'V' or 'X' shape on its head​

Colour can vary from silvery grey to brown or red copper​

Can range 15cm - 80cm in length


GRASS SNAKE

(Natri Helvetica) A non venomous snake​

Grey / green in colour​

​Distinctive yellow and black collar around the neck

​​Black stripes down the sides of the body​

SMOOTH SNAKE

(Cornonella Austriaca) A non venomous snake

grey / brown in colour

black stripe from eye and down the side of the head

Heart shape marking on head with black flecks on back and sides

15cm to 75cm in length
